Will Zimmer is a multi-instrumentalist putting his stamp on the jazz world. Cutting his teeth as a trombonist, Will has had the opportunity to perform alongside notable musicians such as Wycliff Gordon, Jason Palmer, Tonya Darby, Shery Maricle, Maurice Hines, Clay Jenkins, Rich Perry, and John Nyerges. As well as releasing two albums “Hangout Theory” and “Party Jazz”

 

In 2024, Will sustained an injury to his lips that has prevented him from playing the trombone. Without losing a beat, Will transitioned to playing bass and has become an in-demand bassist along the East Coast. Will is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music (B.A. in Professional Music) and the Eastman School of Music (M.M. in Jazz and Contemporary Media Studies).
